OK… Let’s get to it!
Yesterday, I was happily scrolling on Facebook and came across this sponsored post (ad)…

So, I clicked on it and was taken to this sales page where the marketer (Tina Ghazi) was selling a Canva crash course for $17.

Now… I need you to pay attention to her bullet points (in the yellow box).
The moment I saw her offering resell rights to the product, my Indian Spidey sense started tingling.
“What if… gasp… she had bought the rights to this product and was reselling it?”

So… I decided to visit Etsy – home of cheap-ass resell and MRR products.
And I did a search for ‘Canva crash course’ – and these were the results…

Here’s what was interesting: They were all selling the same product, just with different prices and images (Furious rebranding going on here! 😂)
I clicked on the first listing (the one in the yellow box) – and if you looked at the details…

The bullet points are very similar to the $17 Canva course sold by Tina.
Only hers was $17 and this was being sold for 59 cents.
This explains my title about turning a $1 product into $17. Ahem… I rounded up the 59 cents.
I then scrolled down the listing just to confirm if it was the same product… and in the customer reviews, I saw these images…

I clicked on one of them to reveal the course lesson plan…
And it’s verrrrrrry close to Tina’s bullet points.

So I’m 99.9% sure it’s the same product.
She probably just changed up a few of the bullet points.

You’ll also notice that Tina offers a bonus – 200 social media templates.
Now, these templates were probably purchased separately and bundled up with the Canva course to add more value… and… justify the $17 price tag.
If you wish to do the same, you could always look for some templates with resell rights on Etsy.

Here’s a quick summary of the process:
Step 1: Find a resell rights (RR) or master resell rights (MRR) product to sell.
Step 2: Buy it and give it a brand new appearance that’s NOTHING like the original.
Step 3: Buy an extra product to bundle it with your offer to add value (OPTIONAL)
Step 4: Create a sales page with OptimizePress or Systeme.io (or whatever tool you’re using).
Step 5: Use a tool like Thrivecart to process sales.
Step 6: Drive traffic to your sales page with social media – paid/organic. It’s up to you.
Step 7: Build an email list of customers using a tool like Kit.
Step 8: Lather, rinse and repeat… until you make a profit or run out of shampoo.
Well… that’s really how easy it is.
So go rebrand some PLR and sell them as your own… now!
