I’ll get straight to the point…
If you’ve ever opened a PLR article and immediately felt tired, you’re not alone.
So let’s wake it up by turning it into a sketchnote that brings the article to life.
This is the fastest way to make that content clearer, more engaging, and far less painful to consume.
Step #1: Distill the Content
We’ll be using Google Gemini to create the sketch.
But you can’t just dump the article inside and expect miracles. First, we need to identify the main theme and extract the core ideas.
We’ll use this prompt:
Prompt 1: Visual Summary Prompt
Analyze the following PLR article and extract the core ideas for a sketchnote.
- Identify the single main theme
- Select 5–9 key ideas only (remove fluff and repetition)
- Add 1 short supporting phrase per idea
- Rewrite all wording as brief, clear, ALL-CAPS phrases suitable for hand-lettered sketchnotes
- Group ideas so they could be arranged radially around a central title
- (Optional) Suggest a simple visual/icon metaphor for each idea
Output as a clean, sketchnote-ready outline.

Important note: This prompt will be used in ChatGPT… NOT Google Gemini.
Idea extraction in ChatGPT is often the better way because it can handle ‘messy’ PLR more efficiently. It’s also excellent for reducing fluff without losing meaning.
Copy and paste the prompt in ChatGPT and paste your article where the prompt asks you to.
For this example, I’ll use one of my Prepper PLR articles…

And in seconds, ChatGPT gives me the article’s core ideas…

Step #2: Generating the Sketchnote
We’ll first log into Google Gemini…
And use this prompt…

Copy and paste this prompt into Google Gemini… and note where it says [PASTE SKETCHNOTE-READY OUTLINE HERE]
This is where you copy and paste the extracted ideas from ChatGPT (which we did in Step #1).
